Perhaps your fellow users here can help. We are not official Adobe support personnel, but together we can be quite useful. Please tell us what OS you are using? What version of Acrobat you are using (including the subversions like Acrobat Pro 11.0.7 or Acrobat Standard 10.1.2). If you are not using Acrobat, but the Adobe PDF Pack service that is a different issue. There is a separate forum for using that service. Users of Acrobat are no likely to be that knowledgeable about the PDF Pack service that is mostly used by people that do not own Acrobat.
If your Acrobat service used to work correctly and stopped and you use the Windows platform and you have easy access to the Acrobat installation program, there is an Acrobat Cleaner tool that you can use to wipe all traces of Acrobat from your system and allow a complete brand new installation of Acrobat.
