The reason I have gone to nested templates is to enable me to add extra pages easily, with a similar overall appearance but varied for particular groups of pages within the site.
But that is totally possible without nesting templates. A single template will do that for you with a little CSS.
Having said that, I want next to try another layer of nesting, i.e. nested within nested making three layers total. Maybe that won't be so easy.
I'll say! Don't even think of adding this complication to your VERY SIMPLE layout plan.
So please tell me what are the page-specific differences you are wanting to accommodate in your 5-page site? The only difference I see between the 5 pages is:
1. The content - this will be in an editable region anyhow.
2. The left sidebar on the Russian language page.
Is that it?

I'm also seeing some problems with your code - for example, you have used image filenames containing spaces and commas. There may be other uses of punctuation there that I didn't see. That's just unsuitable for use on the web, because some browsers will read your filename up to the first space/comma, and assume it has reached the end of the filename, resulting in a broken image link. Your filenames should only contain letters, numbers, hyphen or underscore - nothing else. In addition, there is some invalid code in your main.dwt that will be passed to every page - please check your validation here - http://validator.w3.org, and fix anything that is called out.
