Re: Changing the operational language of the program?

I sat 4 hours yesterday trying to change the language from Danish to English in Adobe Muse. Guess it is the same with Photoshop. Reinstalled like 10 times. Didn't help. Changed the language on my computer to English. Didn't help. Changed my language and country to "United Kingdom" in my Adobe ID account. Didn't help.

But I managed to remove 90 % of the Danish by doing like this (on a Mac):

Ctrl-click the App icon and a dialogue menu comes up. Choose "Show contents of package" (Translated from Danish). Make a search for files with (in your Norwegian case) "nb" and "no". Check the files with TextEdit. It is easy to see when a file contains the Norwegian menu translations. A file like "AMT.zdct" is such a file. Don't touch files that has something to do with "dictionaries" etc. They are to do with spell checking and are nice to have.

Throw the proper files in the trash and restart the application. If you blew something up - uninstall (from the Utilities/Adobe installers/Uninstall [app name] and then reinstall.

For some reason it didn't remove Danish from "Window" menu. But the rest was gone. I guess i throw away like 7 files (in Muse).

Cheers Chris
