Devnag: Hello. Welcome to Adobe Technical Support.
Devnag: Hi, John.
Devnag: May I know the issue, please ?
John Leech: I have saved my pdf documents to my hard drive (MACBOOK PRO). When I try to open I get the following message: "Adobe Reader could not open 'Wakefield - Diagnosis and Social justice as Goals of Clinical Intervention.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
John Leech: I think I may have mis-configured my adobe.
Devnag: Just to confirm, are you referring to Adobe Reader ?
John Leech: yes
Devnag: Thank you for the information.
Devnag: John, support for your free product is available through Adobe forums at forums.adobe.com and support portal at http://www.adobe.com/support/

John Leech: also when I saved some other pdf docs the following extension was automatically added: pdf.WEBLOC
Devnag: Okay.

John Leech: These are documents I saved from my Graduate School BlackBoard
Devnag: I request you to please refer to the above given links.
