I have several project files that have unselectable image elements on the slide that create the effect of a button highlight on click or roll over. The rollover/highlight effect appears when the slide plays. These slides were recorded from a browser window displaying an HTML5 web application. If I delete the slide background image in the Library, the highlight elements remain behind on the slide. The only way I have found to remove them is to export the slide background image (produces image with highlight elements merged onto background), delete the slide, and then insert an image slide with the exported background image. The embedded highlight graphics make editing complex and reduce flexibility to edit background images. Two questions:
- What's going on here?
- How do I control (turn off) this "feature"?
