Syncing Lens Corrections Settings and Lens Model Profile Questions

Hi,

I'm still working my way through learning the Develop module and creating a workflow. I have 2 questions relating to the Lens Correction tool.

1) My primary lens is a Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18 - 135 mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR

However, the closest profile in the dropdown menu is:

Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18 - 140 mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR

Does it matter? Is it likely to be the same profile in LR?

2) This next question is similar to something I asked before, but I'm still confused about.

Why wouldn't I want to consistently sync my settings to always "enable profile corrections"  and "remove chromatic aberration." If I do this through the Sync function, will the images be analyzed individually?

3) In part, I'm also trying to figure out a workflow. It seems that I should set lens profile and chromatic aberration first, along with the other lens profile features - level; aspect ratio, perspective and vertical corrections and then "develop." For the set of images that I'm currently working on, when I click enable profile correction, it actually brightens the image slightly and sometimes will change the leveling/aspect (upright tool features), after I may have already made adjustments to cropping, leveling, exposure, shadows, highlights etc. in the Basic tool.

From a workflow standpoint, it seems that these adjustments should be done first, but in LR, from a left to right, top to down workflow they come last.

Thank you

Andrew
