I created a pdf with 2 words of font Helvetica and fontsize 40 & 30 respectively. To write second word I used x position of 1st word + text content width of 1st word + 4 and saved the pdf. Then I copied and pasted the contents of pdf into a notepad, there was no space between words. Again I created the pdf with 2 words where second word was written by taking x position of 1st word + text content width of 1st word + 5 and saved the pdf. Then I copied and pasted the contents of pdf into a notepad, there was a space between words.
So I wanted to know that how this spacing was calculated.
