No offense taken. Sorry I am not clear. The triangle in the square in the upper left corner of the histogram is the indicator to which I was referring. It was illuminated and I could not cause it to extinguish. Yes I understand the blue coloring and that is how I was determining that the Black was not being clipped. However the aforementioned triangle enclosed in a square indicator by virtue of being illuminated seemed to indicate that black clipping was taking place. Am I wrong on that? I have now discovered on the last few photos that if I reduce the the Saturation to somewhere in the -20- 25 range the indicator is extinguishable normally.If I am correct I was seeing two contradictory indicators regarding black clipping.
