What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running? Since you mention Get Media, I suspect you are using a version earlier than 11. Should not make a difference for what I believe your issue to be except maybe names of things may be different version to version.

Are you placing a DVD disc with DVD-VIDEO format on it into the computer DVD/CD burner tray, selecting Premiere Elements Get Media/DVD camera and computer drive/Video Importer, and trying to copy/rip video files (VOB)? If so, look to the Save In of the Video Importer.

All DVD-VIDEO has the same name(s) for its video files, that is, typically VTS_01_1.VOB and more in the series depending on how much is on the DVD.

You cannot have file with the same name in a place where you already have a file with that name.

So, if I have guessed right on your issue...create separate folders for each DVD that is to be ripped and change the Video Importer Save In location each time accordingly.

Please review and consider. If I have assumed too much, please give details of the what is.

Thank you.
