When in liquify each time I begin to work on my image I cannot see what I am doing till I click ok and see the image back in photoshop.

Even using the mesh I cannot get an accurate account of what I have done. I have watch the tutorials and each one you can clearly  see the image altering as they work on that image, I have a go and nothing till I get the image back in photoshop and of course the image looks terrible.
