I poked around a little, and found this link: http://www.howtogeek.com/103292/how-to-fix-shockwave-flash-crashes-in-google-chrome/ Seems to have done the trick! I just watched a game with no crashes. Don't know what happened a couple weeks ago - must have been either a Google or Adobe update that was particularly troublesome for the other player. Anyway, hope this works for you.
