The icon is not present for me whether or not I'm using tabbed view, so the question becomes; What have I done (or not done) that keeps that icon from showing? Not that I want it there - like you I have no use for it. I'm happy the way it is.
I mentioned disabling many things Adobe has installed. Here's the complete list of Adobe software that was set up to run in the background at some point, and which I have disabled. It's possible that one or a combination of these things causes Behance to be unavailable. I don't advocate following in my footsteps here - I've done a lot of trial and error to see what's not needed to do the things I normally do. Those things won't be the same for everyone.
