I'm a long time LR user but this has really baffled me.
Put a CF card into the reader and open LR5. Import dialogue shows there is a card but there are no thumbnails... just message saying No images to display.
Check card and indeed there is the usual directory structure (camera is a Canon 50d) and there are a swag of CR2 and JPGs. Tried copying the files to a temp folder on HDD and try to import from LR and it doesn't see them.
Anyone with any clues... much appreciated.
